“YES” FOR HOME RULE CHARTER CAMPAIGN - HOW TO HELP
Have a Voice Everyone invites you to help with the campaign to pass Measure 24-292 which would adopt a Home Rule Charter for Marion County. This is a grass roots effort and we welcome any help and expertise you can offer.
The Charter would change the way we elect our Marion County Commissioners to improve representation. If creates 5 districts which would encourage more people to run for commissioner.
We are conducting phone banks at a nice location every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 1:30 to 4. We also have evening phone banks opportunities. We also can arrange for people to call from home.
We also need canvassers and people to write letters to the editor.
Ballots will arrive May 1, so time is of the essence. We greatly appreciate all you have done thus far!
